Final Flash Project-Online Tutorial

Step1 : Start off with making yourself a cool logo out of PNG logos and different shapes.

Step2: Double click in the My circle layer and design anything you like in that layer, after complete go back to the original canvas.

Step 3: Import all shapes by going up to file and import to stage tab. Add in and move around all your images in PNG and create your design.

Step 4: create shapes and design your logo.

Step 5: Go in the flash code by hitting F9 for actions tab.

Step 6: change the function tracker numbers for alpha and scale. change alpha to (i, 0.6, 1.0) and scale to (i, 0.2, 3.0).

Step 7: change the grid layout to ( 65,180, 67,0,8)

Step 8: get out of the code action screen and go back to your canvas and go to file and import to stage a cool background you like by importing to stage.

Step 9: Import more logos and PNG illustrater design you maid in the logo layer on your right part of the screen. For example for me the playboy bunny was duplicated in Photoshop and given different design and saved with different names, imported them to stage in different colours.

Step 10: After the background and all logos added hit on your keyboard CRTL+Enter and watch the logo flash disco.

For DMA500, we were asked to give 2 screenshots of Iphone app/webpage design for the two clients we created webpage mockups for a month ago. Here is what I came up with!

DMA500-Eros Mockup

The company name is “EROS”
- They want to market themselves as a “Tea and Coffee Garden”.
- This “start-up” company is looking to take a piece of the coffee shop industry.
- Their major competition is Starbucks and Second Cup, while their secondary competition is Tim Hortons, Second Cup,
Coffee Time and Timothy’s.
- They want to connect primarily with the 18-34 year old crowd.
- The shops are designed around a garden environment with lots of plants and flowers as well as busts of Roman
and Greek figures in their shops.
- They focus on organic, healthy and natural foods.
- A major seller is their custom tea blends, which have a very elaborate setup including stylish float tea cups, different sugars
and various types of honey and rose petals - they want a focus on this.
- They offer Wi-Fi, terminals that have access to the Internet and they subscribe to various magazine, newspaper publications, etc.
- The company’s branding and logo are incomplete, so they are open to colour options and would be happy to entertain a new logo.
- They want a “clean, crisp design like Telus or Apple” and they want it to look professional and modern.
